navigating narration
What makes a great Narrator? A VO artist who knows how to navigate the script or story and deliver the messages so the audience/listener understands it clearly and resonates with every word. It takes more than just a pretty voice; it takes artistry and acting chops to be able to break down and analyze a script with specificity and depth.
Narration includes the voice you hear on a documentary, TV show, video on website, conferences, amusement parks, apps, audiobooks, award shows, and so many others!

All the best hiking spots are on Google Maps, and you should be too (on Google, that is. Don’t put your address on Google Maps, folks). A website is an essential tool for the modern voice actor and this class will help set you up for success in the digital era.
We’ll cover – how to know if you are ready for a website, developing your personal branding, what you should have on your website and where it should go, the basics of SEO, and an overview of the different site-building platforms available.

Camp Kosha: Meditative Learning for Breakthrough Acting
Ease the path to flow-state performance with an acting class unlike any other. Our practice combines instruction from industry-leading director Kal-El Bogdanove with the neuroscience of Yoga Nidra meditative learning led by Mea Tavares, to facilitate adjustments tailored to each artist. Increase your emotional elasticity, deepen your character work, release your booth nerves, and accelerate your growth as an actor in voiceover and every format beyond.
The Foundational class meets you where you’re at, introducing actors of varying meditation experience to the brain state of Yoga Nidra. First, the actor engages in a cold read, to set the baseline of their performance experience. Then, Mea leads the actor on a meditative journey of emotional elasticity, creative visualization, and personal authenticity to establish a grounded base from which to perform.
Once Yoga Nidra has concluded, the actor returns to the stage to experience the increased receptivity to learning and growth facilitated by the practice, during targeted coaching by Kal-El. Come discover what “ah-ha” moments are possible for you.
